Our vision for Little Lambs Preschool is dedicated to glorifying God by preparing our children to participate in a positive way in God’s plan for their lives.
IN THE CLASSROOM
Here at Little Lambs, we believe that by encouraging the following goals each day, the children will be well rounded academically, socially, and ready for the next year by.
Strengthening a child’s feelings of competence by encouraging independent self-help skills such as: feeding oneself, washing hands, and taking care of personal belongings.
Helping children learn to count by reciting the numbers on the calendar, counting objects, and playing memory games.
Providing sensory stimulation with games that involve seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, sorting and understanding same/different.
Lengthening a child’s attention span starting with short, small, rug times then gradually adding time with more challenging activities.
Learning weekly Bible verses and Bible themes including chapel time.
Inspiring appreciation for music and dramatic play.
Providing an environment for emotional understanding and growth.
